Charlesview, Inc. Emergency Funding

In addition to the Charitable Fund, Charlesview, Inc. provides emergency funding and financial support to critical organizations for which alternative funding has become unavailable.

The Allston Brighton Health Collaborative (ABHC)

ABHC is a neighborhood-based public health nonprofit that convenes a network of organizations, advocates, elected officials, and residents. Together we work to improve the systems that impact health and wellbeing in Boston’s Allston-Brighton neighborhoods. ABHC centers community members who are most in need, under-resourced, and under-served in its work to address and improve equitable access to transportation, food, community resources, and other public health needs as they arise.

Kithara

The Kithara Project is dedicated to improving and transforming the lives of at-risk and underserved young people around the world through the classical guitar. It provides year-round, tuition-free classical guitar education to approximately 130 students at four different sites around the United States and Mexico.

In their own words, you’ll hear about the lives and people they left behind in their native countries, their journeys here, their struggles and successes. You’ll hear from parents of “dreamers,” “dreamers” themselves, undocumented to naturalized citizens, and everything in between.

Coalition for a Just Allston + Brighton (CJAB)

The Coalition for a Just Allston + Brighton (CJAB) seeks to ensure that the future of our community is centered on furthering equitable policies, commitments, and actions that lead to systems and structural change.

Allston Brighton Youth Coalition

The Allston Brighton Youth Coalition leadership development program offers stipended positions for Youth ages 13-22 living in Allston-Brighton OR attending school in Allston-Brighton to help lead and learn about local health issues, conduct research, raise awareness, challenge their peers to do community service, and participate in hands-on improvement projects throughout Allston-Brighton and beyond. Youth Coalition members receive leadership development training, workforce development training, opportunities to network with other youth leaders and adult leaders across the Greater Boston Area.
